To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
I find myself doing a lot charity work. Getting involved with the community, politics, and things of that nature. I am also a simple country girl who does like boating, fishing, hanging out with friends for the evening, camping, but with that said, I also can be dressed up and mingle with all walks of life. I am diverse, intelligent, and have a big heart for others. Rarely do I put myself first. I am learning that sometimes I need to do just that. This is why I am here. I want to find someone I can spend quality time with and treat like a king and hope in retrospect he does the same for me. I was raised old-fashioned, but at the same time I feel I broke from some traditions and am a modern woman but still hold my traditional values. I have been told that I am funny, intelligent and very caring. I believe to describe me would actually have to come from the ones who know me best. There is a whole world I want to experience.

on the other half, I love the opera, art shows, museums, and a carriage ride downtown houston.. I also think a trip to the beach at night is very romantic and just lie beneath the stars. Money does not have to play a role on my perfect date. My perfect date depends on how much the man paid attention to what I like and if he put effort to combine his likes with mine. Showing he cared enough to plan our date with my personality and not the generic dinner and movie.

I always say I want to be single forever, but that is not entirely true. I just have certain expectations on how I should be treated and I won't compromise that. I do not believe in violence and I still believe a woman should take care of her man, as he should her. Is that asking too much in todays time? I am not completely diluted. I am modern in many ways, but I was raised in the deep south and with those deep south traditions. I felt I have broken free of some of those and have been independant for quite some time. I don't have to have someone to take care of me. I want to have an equal partnership with someone. This is my first time for all of this online dating and it is hard to put into words and translate exactly where I am coming from.

Taking a spontaneous trip to a beach. In Texas or just take off to another state. I find camping with friends to be fun. Confidence, but not cocky. In control of situations but not controlling of me. Hard worker. Someone to be able to put their foot down with me but yet be respectful. I would be a bit of a challenge, but I don't want a man I can walk over. I lose interest very quickly. I want a family man who values the true meaning of closeness. Loyal and not a liar. I expect no more from a man than I don't plan to give in return myself. I want him to put me on top of his list, as he would be on mine.
