Any guy can write “I love pets and children, oh; and I am as comfortable dressing up as I am in jeans and a t-shirt.” Who doesn't love pets and children or dressing for the occasion? Hmmm?


There’s plenty of time to get to know me. I’m more interested in you. Let me tell you about yourself. You intrigue me. Yes, I like your profile picture – it’s a beautiful you in a tasteful and relaxing setting or outdoors in a unique or at least interesting background. Your profile reveals that you would make me proud of you because of how well you’re able to interact with others regardless of the setting.


Not that you don’t get excited about things occasionally, but you’re not characterized as a fireball. Your friends would say that you seem calm and relaxed most of the time, even if you do stay busy. You’re loyal – a one man woman. You’re single now only because you lost your husband or perhaps, just as unfortunately, he cheated on you.


You've had a difficult relationship or two in the past, but you’re not grieving anymore. There are lots of options, but I wouldn't want to do anything that's expensive. I wouldn't want you to think I'm trying to buy your affection. Nor would I want you to get the idea that you are obligated in anyway to me; so I would like to do anything simple (e.g. shopping at the mall, spend a little time socializing at a coffee shop, or have a quick breakfast at a local restaurant. Maybe just take a short walk in one of the local parks. There are lots of things we could do on a first date (if it really needs to be called a date) to just get a chance to know a little bit about each other while we're simultaneously spending time on another activity.
