I'm a lady who was raised to enjoy the beauty in what you see, and feel, not in what you have. The look in a fathers eyes when he holds his first born for the first time. The smile on a child as he swims out to his parents, or rides his bike alone for the first time. These are the things I enjoy. I was raised on a farm as a child, was married at 16, and widowed at 24. I didn't date when my children were at home, due to them needing a stabe family, not men comeing in and out of their lives.Loosing their father was enough, they didn't need a repeat of it. Now for children are gorwn, both my own and foster children. Now I'm looking for that certain someone who will complete me, as I hope to complete him. I only ask for things from a man. Honesty, has never or will never strike a lady, and three, understanding and the ability to see past the chips and cracks and look inside the locket.
I have a small home based bussiness of sewing. It's nothing big, but it is all I need to get by. The greatest thing about my work, is it is also my hobby. I love to sew, crochet, swim, and good conversation. I'm not one to pretend to know what you're talking about. If I don't know, I ask, as you learn till the day we all go home.
I usually live by the seasons of the year. In the spring, it's time to plant my gardens, both flowers and veggies. In the summer, it's swimming across the street in the river. For when it gets to hot at night t sleep, nothing is so wonderful as slipping into the water at 4 in the morning, preferrable in my all together. The only thing you hear is the owl, and your body glidding through the water.
In fall, it's time to pick my gardens clean. I can the veggies in my garden, and dry the flowers. Nothing like fresh tomatoes in the middle of a snow storm.
Now winter is special, for that is when the child in me comes out. I don't care what folks say, you're never to old to build a snowman/women, or a snow angle. If I'm lucky, you'll find me walking in the snow as it falls in the early morning. With just the sound of the snow falling, and the crunching under my boots, a very specail smile says it all.
Their is one thing. I do have a disorder called Fibromyalgia. It's like arthritis, but it affects the muscles, ligaments and tendons, rather then the joints. I have good days, and bad days, I say this now, as I'm a very up front lady, and I believe a person should know not only the things I enjoy, but what I don't enjoy having.
I don;t know if this has a spot for what I look like, so if it doesn't, and you're interested, give me a yell, and we'll see what happens.
