I have been married twice. The first time was to my two grown children's father for 24 years. Divorced him in 1997. Moved to Amarillo and went to work for a bank. I remarried in May 1999 to an older gentleman that I met at the bank. He died 10 months later of cancer. I have been single ever since then, March 2000.
I am an office manager and bookkeeper for my brother's roofing company. I have 3 grand-children that I love to spoil. I possess an outstanding sense of humor, love to laugh and make others do the same. I like having a good time...life is too short to procrastinate. Go for the unknown and always remember that you are as young as you feel and act. Never be ashamed to show the world what you are made of. You are the only one that can illustrate your true being, hopes and fears. If you don't love and respect yourself...who else will?
I am searching for my other half...the part that is missing. Looking for that special person that is going to be my best friend, my hero, my reason for smiling all the time and my "soul mate". He will have a very caring heart, honesty, loyalty, respect, most extraordinary personality and love for no one but me. He will be patient, intelligent, understanding, good listener, show his feelings openly and have a strong shoulder to lean on when needed. My "prince" will not possess jealousy, a bad temper, a corrupt mind or doubt my love for him. My better half will have a great sense of humor, apathy, genuine concern, pride, a positive attitude, hope and romantic passion. He will be the first thing I see every morning and the last thing I see at night. He will be very secure with himself and me with no reason for suspision. Most of all he will be the answer to my lifelong dream. Someone to love me the rest of my life unconditionally and vice versa. I want someone to walk hand in hand with me down life's extraordinary road...beside me...not in front of or behind me forever and a day.
So why not try me...you may like me...maybe even love me.

The Perfect date for me would be dinner out somewhere with candlelight, music, Champagne, holding hands across the table gazing into each others eyes and knowing what the other is thinking. Discussing things that you didn't even confide in with your best friend. After a leisurely meal, a little slow, close dancing. Experiencing a warm feeling all over, not even noticing that time has flew by the enire evening. Even on the ride home, you are still engaged in flirtacious conversation. When you finally arrive home, he leans over and takes your face gently in his hands. While still gazing into your eyes, he softly kisses you once on the lips. You express your good byes in which he says that he will call you sometime. The best part is when you receive that call twenty minutes later, with him telling you that he already misses you. That feeling of butterflies in your stomach is the best feelings you will ever experience, so cherish it.

Sing in front of a crowd. Teach dance lessons. To finish my college degree in Psychology. To live happily ever after.
