| I've Always Wanted To Try | The truth is I am blessed, I am running out of things to try, I saw Wanye Gretsky play hockey and score a hat trick, Michael Jordan play basketball and score the winning basket, and Mark McQuire hit a home run. I might like to see Tiger Woods play golf but I just can't watch other people golf. I have seen the Indianapolis 500, Nascar races, sprint cars, dirt bikes, car shows, Monster trucks. I might like to go to the Kentucky Derby but it is only a two minute race. Maybe the Barret Jackson Auction in Vegas. I always wanted to deliver a baby and then when I did my obstectric rotation as a resident I delivered 19 babies in 24 hours. I've been in a hot air ballon, so maybe sky driving but I don't think I could jump out of a plane. I've been to just about every major city in the US and Canada. I have lived in Canada and in Asia. I have several goals yet to achieve in this life. To see all five of my daughters graduate from high school and even better to see all five of my daughters with a University or College degree in their hands. For all of my children to meet a nice guy and get married and for me to be there at their wedding and to "give them away." To hold a grandchild in my arms and even better one of my great grandchildren in my arms. To finish my degree in Architecture and my MBA (I already have my BSC in biochemistry/genetics and my MD). To have enough money to enjoy retirement, some place with a beach so I can go for a walk with the sunrise and smell the ocean. Most of the time I have found that the best things in life are also the most simple. |
