I am a Christian who believes that Christ must come first in everything. I love learning about Christ and His word, but also what goes on in this world. I am kind, giving, caring. I care alot about what goes on with children and animal who have a hard time.

I am old fashioned in that I believe that making love should be kept within the bounds of marriage and I believe in remaining faithful no matter what. I have been divorced and don't feel that it is an option- you work together as a couple on things.

I enjoy reading, riding horses though it has been a while, photography, fishing, camping these days I prefer creature comforts of an RV or camper rather than a tent lol!!! I also love yard sales and looking at antiques.

I enjoy rodeos, board and card games amd crossword puzzles. Staying at home watching a movie or sometimes going out for dinner and a movie. I think that it is important that couples have at least one hobby that they do together. I like the old shows like I love Lucy, Bonanza to CSI etc. Some of my favorite actors are Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart and of course the Duke. Kate Hepburn, Denzel Washington as well as others. I like many things and am not afraid to try something new.

I like to cook but also like to share the kitchen. I enjoy eating out as well- hamburgers or a nice dinner. I am fairly easy to please and I try to do things so that others know that I apprecite them. I try to treat others the way that I want to be treated. What you see is pretty much what you get.

There are times that I like to get dressed up, but I am most comfortable in jeans. If I have to like now, I can live in town, though I prefer one smaller. But I hope sometime to live in the country close to town.

I had heart surgery several yrs ago, and I am doing fine but it has slowed me down a bit. I guess that God wanted me to take the time to smell the flowers and coffee. I have learned what is important in life. It doesn't keep me from doing what I want to do and I don't think that I would be considered "high maintence" what ever that means. I was told I won't need another surgery. But I thought you should know.

I like to look at things as an adventure, I like to travel, there are many places here in the US that I would like to see. Not sure how safe it is to travel out of the country these days.

If you are looking for a Susy Homemaker type with shining floors, you need to look elsewhere. I am not a total slob, I believe in being clean, but I prefer to spend my time with my family rather than attached to a mop and rag. I really love to be outside weather permitting. I also enjoy remodeling houses and would like to try my hand at a larger project sometime. I can't do the heavy work anymore but I still can plan and help.

I have 3 sons who are on their own, the oldest teaches in Korea. He met his wife on line- she is from Jakarta. They are hopefully coming back soon since I am going to be a grandma. I have a dog and 2 cats and I recently rescued a kitten.
