This part of on-line dating I have not looked forward to - describing yourself and your life using clever and well chosen phrases - all in less than 4, 000 characters. Here we go!

First and foremost, I consider myself a fairly normal guy. I am an avid lover of the outdoors and everything associated with it. I love to particpate and watch many sports including golf (played at UF), tennis, basketball, football, swimming, skiing (water and snow), etc. I also enjoy the simpler side of the outdoors like going to the beach or pool and just relaxing. I also enjoy traveling when life permits - I go skiing with my kids at least once a year and our annual trips to the Bahamas in the Summer. Simple and short extended weekend vacations are a must to get away from the stresses of life.

I have three children who are the #1 priority and source of fulfillment in life. They are all very well rounded kids - intelligent, athletic, spiritual and caring - I am truly blessed and fortunate. My oldest daughter is a senior in high school who will attend UF next year (a place to stay for all home games), my youngest daughter is a sophomore who already knows she wants to be a doctor, and my son is in sixth grade and an avid soccer player.

My educational background is in accounting (no I am not boring) but I spent most of my business years as a finance executive with the Pepsi organization. Two years ago I left Pepsi with a couple of other very dedicated executives and started up three small businesses in the Sarasota area (manufacturing, Packaging Engineering Consulting and Real Estate). So far they are doing fairly well but clearly require significant sweat equity.

In a nutshell, I am looking for someone to share everything in life with. Someone who has similar (not identical - I am a realist) interests as I do and who will stand by me during peaks and valleys that life always throws at you.
