An energetic woman, I attempt balance in all things, value peaceful moments and thrilling ones, but have come to know that all have more depth when witnessed with another.

I love roller coasters, scuba diving and anything else that gets the blood moving. I am fascinated by people and personalities, and randomly am far from my camera. I adore cooking with company, nights watching a fire, fine wine and never say no to a Jazz band on a Saturday night.

Who I am can best be summed up by my beliefs list:

Core Beliefs
- I believe honesty, above all things, is sacred. Dishonesty removes choice from other people and that is not my right. I choose to spend my life with others who share this belief
- I believe that all things are incrementally attainable
- I believe learning is as much about experience as it is about school
- I believe knowledge is elusive and no one knows everything about anything
- I believe that imagination should never be limited by what we can see, but instead be encouraged by all things we can’t see. (I believe in possibility)
- I believe there is more to life than what I alone experience
- I believe that every good decision rewards benefits; I accept that I won't always be the one to experience the benefits of my own decisions, but will still always strive to do what is right.
- I believe that my human understanding is limited and that one day I will have all the answers to all the questions that are no longer important.
- I believe we have a debt to existence to help those less fortunate than us
- I believe history is a gift and I travel to preserve it’s value
- I believe innocence is precious and I should seek to preserve it when I find it, not destroy it.
- I believe words are the greatest gift and the greatest weapon and people should put more thought into how they use them
- I believe that pessimism and fear impede progress and that blind faith and rash action lead to failure. Practical optimism is the key to success.
- I believe in the wisdom of my parents in spite of their mistakes
- I believe every life is blessed but that I can save more by understanding than I can by passing judgement
- I believe in the beauty born in every living thing. I should look more closely for the beauty.
- I believe that there are no excuses; everything is a choice and you make it
- I believe that life is best not lived in the finding what I look for, but instead in the finding what is true.
- I believe Love is a gift best lived as the irreplaceable moments we choose to share with another. I value my relationships to acknowledge the choice they are making to share them with me.
- I believe my experiences are a gift that I should use to help others
- I believe that anger over one's shortcomings is better than resolve to accept one's failures. Emotion can be swayed, and is a sign there is hope for change, even when it feels negative. When emotion is lost, so often is recovery as well. I will strive to remember to take advantage of the time and opportunity to change a situation before it becomes too late.
- I believe that every person has value. Worth is inherent to existence, it is merely a question of applicable use for each person's gifts. I will strive to look for worth over benefit in every person I meet and remember that if I fail to see a person's value, it's not because it's not there, it's because in my life, I've forgotten what it looks like, which is a lack of insight on my part.
- I believe that no one should have to hide who they are. I should strive to be my authentic self and likewise strive to accept those in my life as who they are on the path to discovering their authentic selves.
- I believe every person is more beautiful when they are smiling.
- I believe life is more vibrant with family than without
- I believe that family has nothing to do with blood
- I believe I was meant to be shared, body, mind, soul and spirit.

An activity he has passion for. Quiet or exciting, just to share something that the other person really enjoys both fascinates me and shows me some of themselves. Food is always enjoyable - whether at a fine restaurant, or spending the evening chatting and creating together. Time to converse is a must, but the details aren't important - the company makes the date spectacular. The ideal one is the one neither wants to end.

Lobster, while in Maine. To climb to the top of the Eiffle Tower. Kite Surfing. To be a neuro psychologist. Making my own sushi. To have a piece of work displayed in a museum (even if it is only First Thursday).

Depends on the day and the company :) Anything I've never done before is always exciting; if it involves water, even better. I love music, conversation, good food, wine. To put my feet in the sand of the beach, or splash through puddles in a parking lot. Ferris Wheels and fireplaces, any excuse to wear a beautiful dress. Discovering hidden jewels of shops and restaurants in small streets of foreign towns, picking fress berries from their own vines and learning/seeing how anything is made. Museums and book stores make me giddy, roller coasters and sky diving bring me peace.

Above all else, it is always more fun with a companion who enjoys the same.
